Who knew you could make such a cute craft out of stuff from Dollar Tree? Well, I guess we’re all in on that secret! At under $10 total, these sweet scarecrows so inexpensive, you could make a bunch of them – all with different colors, faces, and cute little personalities. You can even put them in your windows for a super cute, nighttime display! Once the last bit of glue dries and each detail is in place, it’s time to light it up! Turn on the fairy lights and your illuminated scarecrow becomes an adorable autumn nightlight or a seasonal decoration for your end table. These are incredibly detailed, though - so I really recommend using a cutting machine with the DXF or SVG files for best results. My free download includes a printable PDF if you want to cut the pieces by hand. You can even use the Cricut Joy, Cricut Joy Xtra, or the Cricut Venture! You’ll need something to cut your Dollar Tree scarecrow’s cute little features! I’m using my Cricut Maker 3, but you can use any Maker or Explore series machine. Add a few f aux flowers or fall leaves on top of the hat for a great final touch! I have links for lots of ideas in my supply list. There are so many different (and easy) ways to add personality to this Dollar Tree craft! You can tie a bow around its middle to hide the hot glue keeping the vases together, and add a hat to really make it look like an authentic scarecrow. I got these 5″ bowl shaped vases from my local Dollar Tree, but you can usually find them at craft stores, Walmart, and Amazon, too. To start, you’ll need two round glass vases for the body and head.
